LeBron James Sends Prayers After Jayson Tatum’s Serious Injury

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum suffered a serious injury in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the New York Knicks. 

It appeared Tatum tore his Achilles, but we won’t know for sure until the All-Star gets his MRI. 

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, who is close with Tatum, sent out prayers after the injury.

James and Tatum were Olympic teammates last summer on Team USA. They won the gold medal together. 

When Tatum was a rookie in 2017-18, his Celtics took James’ Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games in the conference finals. Tatum even dunked on James. 

Here’s to hoping that Tatum didn’t tear his Achilles or suffer a season-ending injury. 

The Knicks won Game 4, so they are now up 3-1 on the Celtics.
